Konstantinos

Dental Lab Technician
I own and run Studiodontics Dental Lab which is now located within Wakefield Custom Dental in order to serve our patients better. I love the art of mimicking natural dentition using artificial materials. It is an ongoing challenge in our field, and I never get bored with keeping up with new technologies and materials. My wife, Dr. Karogiannis, and I are very fortunate to have an amazing team supporting us. We are all very dedicated to our patients.
Dr. Karogiannis and I have two beautiful children, George and Kristina. I am very artistic and love creating anything, from the smallest drawing to the biggest construction project. I love the challenge of creating something from nothing, especially when it can improve other people’s lives

Practice Coordinator/ Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
I began working with Dr. K in 2012 while she was an Associate at a previous practice and accompanied her when she purchased Wakefield Custom Dental in 2014. I assisted the Doctor chair-side for 8 years where some of my independent duties included taking digital X-rays in which I received my certification at Boston University School of Dental Medicine, taking images with our Primescan scanner for Crowns/Bridges, Nightguards, and Whitening Trays. I was also responsible for whitening our Patients’ teeth and helped to create beautiful smiles! I continue to handle the ordering of supplies and maintenance of equipment. While I maintain my certification as an Assistant, since January of 2021 I have transitioned to the role of Practice Manager, where you’ll find me at the front desk assisting our patients with scheduling and explanation treatment plans. I love using my knowledge from the operatory to help educate our current and new patients with what to expect at each visit.
My most important job is to make each person feel comfortable and relaxed during their appointment, and I really enjoy the friendships I’ve established with so many of our patients and their families! I love the professional care and passion of my Team and appreciate the support and confidence of Dr. Karogiannis.
At home, I have a 20-yr old son who has his own moving company and sings as well as writes his own songs. I enjoy cooking and hosting, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends.

Alyssa

Insurance Coordinator

I began my career in dentistry in 2013 as a Licensed Dental Assistant. After several years, I transitioned into an administrative role, when given the opportunity, to help build a new dental practice and become an office manager. Joining Dr. K’s team in 2021 as our insurance coordinator, I ensure patients understand their insurance coverage and any co-payments associated with their treatment. I love being able to communicate effectively with patients about the clinical reasoning for their treatments, as well as discuss the financials to maximize their insurance. My goal is for every patient to have the opportunity to have a healthy mouth and love their smile!

My husband and I moved to Wakefield eight years ago. I enjoy walking the lake and spending time with our 3-yr old son, 1-yr old daughter and our first son Oliver- our 6-yr old Labrador Retriever, and our family and friends.
HYGIENE DEPARTMENT

Our Team of knowledgeable and friendly Hygienists are prepared to give you the utmost in care as it pertains to your dental hygiene. Their number one passion is educating our patients about all things dental from proper brushing and flossing to periodontal disease.
